The guy who owns Mi Sueño is Rolando Herrera (yup – the same guy who was director of winemaking at Paul Hobbs) so we figured he must be multi-talented… not just awesome Cab, but probably any variety he touches.
A combo of 20% Syrah and 80% Cab in an aromatic blend that you can smell from 20 feet away as soon as you pour it (I used to have an aunt – my mom’s sister – you could smell her perfume from a block away when the wind was right – well; when I was a little kid, my aunt and my mom and I rode the elevator to the 14th floor of the ‘Medical Arts Building’ downtown Omaha.
I have this dread of elevators, a deep-seated fear of perfumes…
But I digress…
