2005 Pinot Noir
In one of my past lives, frequent trips to St. Louis would be made to visit friends, play some golf, and see my spouse's family. St. Louis is a great town with awesome Italian restaurants and a great grocery-store local chain called Dierberg's... Fast forward to today; Omaha... Lots of friends (trust me, I really do...I pay them well) occasional golf , no irritating spouse, average grocery-store chains and... Dierberg Vineyard seriously delicious wines... 05' Pinot Noir that emphatically prove the the size of a Pinot is important! Very dark in color; full in body and texture; long-lasting; and eminently satisfying... a Pinot that will stand up to the demands of even the most discriminating...
And... under the Star Lane label from Dierberg comes the 2005 Cabernet Sauvignon that is sooo good that we suggest drinking instead of sipping...
